The Health Insurance Fund of WA providing quality, affordable private health cover for its members, who now number
more than 43,000.  HIF was established in 1954 as the WA Government Railways Employees Hospital Fund, and although its doors were opened to insuring all Australians in 1976, HIF has always remained a Western Australian fund.

Over 50 years on and HIF is still a fund committed to its members - it has always been and will continue to be a not for-profit organisation seeking to provide better membership benefits and bigger rewards than anyone else.
